Our Vision
We designed PHACT to be a single platform that has multiple use cases in order to serve the community while at the same time maximizing value for government.

The Technology Behind PHACT
PHACT exploits the latent “handshake” capabilities of today’s modern network enabled devices, effectively capitalizing on the chatty nature of mobile phones and the fact that they identify themselves as present, while not identifying themselves in any other way. With PHACT the emphasis is on knowing WHERE people are rather than WHO people are.
By monitoring this ubiquitous behaviour, the PHACT platform can determine many key metrics that are fundamental to proper physical distancing and contact mitigation.
The data collected is rich with information that can help platform users determine how to improve overall public safety. PHACT eliminates the need for opt-in, preserving privacy and removing a key barrier for community engagement.
Our outside-in approach has created a platform that has uses well beyond simple contact tracing and pandemic mitigation. By developing “aware” environments, platform users can leverage the information that PHACT provides to assist in urban planning, way finding, security, search and rescue and disaster recovery.
